Denis Longhi aka “Deniz Noego”
Italy based, Dj, music producer, vj, Denis Longhi starts his music story in 1993, club to club
following the first House Music scene, in loving with soulfoul and “Black Music” movement.
From clubber to dj in little step, Denis become one of the young talent in north-west Italy, playing
eclectic Jazzhouse and different groove. At the end of 90’ his career involved in the first step of
West London style, and the mark of Brokenbeat starts infect his project and sound.
After the Funkinetic project, started in 1998 with Luca Varvelli, in 2002 Denis make up the Noego
Factory with Massimiliano Zanellato, a multimedia lab, where sound and video go on in the same
direction, “Cinematic Orchestra” is the remark of the audiovideo orchestra that Noego point at
became. Now with Jazzrevolver, Denis starts a Futurejazz ensemble composed by jazz musicians
and professors in music academies, sound engineer, programmers and turntablists. |

NOego Project
Noego Project, an italian Multimedia Factory in loving with Futurejazz and Brokenbeat! We are in effort in Djset, Vjset, Audiovisualworks and in Jazzrevoler, a Quintet Liveband that cross Jazz with Elettronica.
COncept
Noego was born in 2002 in the suburbs of a small North-Italian town called Vercelli. Noego is a collectiveness of music and visuals divided into DJ's, VJ's, musicians, designers, illustrators, photographers and video makers. As Noego consists of different talents in music and arts, it acts as a platform that provides the possibility for the Noego individual to compare himself with other Noego artists and at the same time fuse inspiration, ideas and skills with them. Noego is a creation and presentation, an ambitious project that can be described as a new dynamic reality located in the experimentation of multimedia and computerisation. The ideas and feelings of Noego are rooted in the artistic and avant-garde soil of ana lysing, describing and reflecting various cultural and social environments. Noego produces visual and sound performances where the movements of the visuals are linked to the waves of the music; where the Noego individuals' inner thoughts & thinking are linked with the sounds and images culminating to a separate entity with Noego identity; where the synchrony of these harmonic accents and video sequences bring the participant and the user together to share an unique emotion. Visually Noego creates a link between HiTek and Retro Lounge by fusing 3D animations, photography and illustrations with the images of classic cinema, and aims to express and present difficult and cult-delicate arguments through a critical frame of mind. Noego Band live musical presentation is an electronic interpretation of Futurejazz and NuFunk, expressed through and with Lounge, Broken Beats and Down Tempo. Noego Band's offering is filtered through the mind of Deniz: who provide the grooves with laptop, drum machines and samplers for: Marcello Testa and Claudio Guida (both Professors in Music Academies in Italy) to add on the harmonies of real bass, contrabass and saxophone, Luigi Ranghino, master in piano and rhodes jazz moods. Other Noego artists both inclusively or exclusively, include Maks (VJ:ing & arts), Tosses (Turntable and Engineering Doctor), Dario (VJ/web responsible), Fricio (percussions), Andre & Teo (Photo & arts), C_Zar (DJ:ing & Tracker), Stefano (Go:go dancer).
