Flûtiste depuis 20 ans, Yann Cléry a commencé par le conservatoire jusqu'à sa médaille. Il étudie avec Marc Rovelas, également professeur de Malik Mezzadri.
Après 4 ans d'arrêt il reprend la musique en 1995 en tant chanteur au sein du groupe ska-punk-jazz Happy Bird, sillonnant le sud de la France avec plus de 150 concerts.
Maintenant à Paris, il a axé son travail sur le jazz, avec l'appui d'Yves Torchinsky et a passé sa licence de jazz. Comédien en 2005 dans la troupe Le Monte-charge résidant à La Villa Mais D'ici et danseur dans la troupe de danse contemporaine Hapax en 2006, il multiplie les expériences.
Il affinera et mûrira son potentiel vocal grâce à sa rencontre avec Elise Dabrowski.
On le connaît pour ses traits virtuoses de flûte,son lyrisme dans ses improvisations et ses multiples participations à des projets jazz (Booster), soul (Rony, Jazz Liberators), électro (UHT°) ou hip hop (Productions Beus Bengal). C’est aussi un utilisateur hors-pair du quintoiement, technique permettant de chanter et de jouer simultanément de la flûte en contrepoint.
Il nous présente ici son projet, centré autour de sa voix étonnante : capable de passer d’une voix sensuelle et intime à des éclats ragga explosifs.

Flutist for 20 years, Yann Cléry has started with the academy to his
medal. He studied with Marc Rovelas, also professor de Malik Mezzadri.
After 4 years of break, he recovers to play music in 1995 in so much
singer within the group ska-punk-jazz Happy Bird, furrowing the south
of France with more than 150 concerts.
Now in Paris, he
centered his work on the jazz, with the support of Yves Torchinsky, and
passed his licence of jazz. Actor in 2005 in the troop the Monte-Charge
residing at the Villa Mais D'ici and dancer in the troop of
contemporary dance Hapax in 2006, he multiplies the experiments. He
refines and matures his vocal potential thanks to his meeting with
Elise Dabrowski.
