Alejandro Acosta (Ale Acosta) is one of the most prominent DJs and producers of the Spanish scene, apart from being the producer and member of a group as important as Mojo Project, a group revelation of 2004 after his debut with the highly recommendable Taste the mojo (Lovemonk).
Born in Lanzarote (Canary Islands, SPAIN) but resident in Madrid, combining his work as producer and remixer with his dj sessions and live concerts.
As producer, in addition of the 3 albums of Mojo Project, has produced the first album of Quinto Parpadeo "Despierta", which Rubén Blades praised the good work of the production.
In 2008 has co-produced the latest record by Chambao "Con Otro Aire " which got 1 to LATIN GRAMMY nomination as “producer of the year ", also 2 nominations to Spanish Music Awards as" better sound technician "and "Better artistic production."
In his facet of remixer has worked for artists like José Mercé, Buika, Delinqüentes, Ska Cubano, ElBicho, Ojos de Brujo, The Pinkerton, Amparanoia.
Earlier this year has mixed the new record by the great master of flamenco Enrique Morente entitled "Pablo de Malaga."
During the 2008 has the functions of DJ live on the tour of Chambao "Con Otro Aire World Tour 08", while continuing with his DJ sets all over Europe, groove-filled sessions, which combines its own remixes and productions with much house, funk with African and Latin touches. Pure dance.
Currently is completing his first solo album which mixes all its influences (funk, electronica, flamenco and rock). And the new record with Mojo Project. And production for many spanish artists.
